Redwood Area

Welcome to Redwood Area Schools!

Redwood Area Schools has an outstanding reputation and long tradition of excellence. We are proud to offer our students the highest quality education. We welcome you to our school district.

The support we receive from our local communities of Belview, Morton and Redwood Falls is exemplary. Our students and staff attend class and work in state of the art facilities that provide the opportunity to get a world-class education.  Attendance at sporting events, fine arts performances and other school activities shows our students that their communities are behind them. We are grateful for the investment local citizens regularly make in educating our youth.

Our students ages birth through five attend Early Childhood classes in the Ehlers Intergenerational Family Center, which is located on the northeast side of Reede Gray Elementary School.  Students in grades K-4 attend Reede Gray Elementary School, where we offer all day every day kindergarten and small class sizes.  Redwood Valley Middle School serves students in grades 5-8 and Redwood Valley High School students in grades 9-12.  All schools are located in Redwood Falls.

Our staff is remarkable! They spend countless hours making sure that each and every student is achieving at his or her highest potential and they demonstrate, over and over again, the willingness to go the extra mile.

On our website, you’ll find district facts, phone numbers, and contacts. Feel free to contact anyone listed for additional information about our top-notch schools. If you want to learn more, you can also contact us by calling 507-644-3531.

Again, thanks for visiting the Redwood Area Public Schools website. We look forward to welcoming your family to our community.

Sincerely,

Rick Ellingworth
