Text Box: In social studies we will be studying the thirteen English colonies slave trade, the revolutionary war and the civil war.  We do a unit on what it means to be patriotic and we also study our fifty states.  We have a new social book and it generates lots of discussion.  We also do many activities with atlases, magazines and globes.  Ask your child to explain their foldable.         5TH GRADE HOME PAGE
