* Junior Prom Committee meeting during lunch in Mrs. Hegg’s room - we need to start our thank you notes!

The final NHS meeting for old members is Friday, May 9 at 8:00 am in Mrs. Ellingworth’s room 132. 

Prom-goers: Memory picture books are in - you can pick them up from Mrs. Hegg if you ordered one.  Also prom pictures can be picked up from Mrs. Hegg in her room after school.

AP students - test dates (all exams begin at 8:00 am sharp in the community center test location):

No make-ups are allowed on AP testing.

What to bring: Several #2 pencils with erasers, black or blue ink pens, a watch & your social security number.  Do NOT bring: Cell phones or other electronic devices, books or notes, computers or calculators, watches that beep, portable listening or recording devices, food or drink, clothing with subject-related information.  

There will be a meeting for all girls entering grades 9-12 interested in volleyball next fall on Wednesday, May 14 at 7:45 in Room 153.  It is very important that you attend to get summer camp, league, open gym and training information. 

Seniors:

* Scholarship opportunity for students going into the human services field - 6-1-08 deadline (see Mrs. Zick for application). 

* Stop in high school office to be measured for your graduation gown. 

* Please stop in the guidance office to report to Mrs. Zick any scholarship awards that you have received.  The total dollars that are received by your class are announced each year at the Evening of the Starts.  Thanks for your help with this request. 

* Pick up senior and baby pictures from Mrs. Kaupang.

Next year's NHS and BPA members:  We need concession workers yet for May 15 Conference Track, May 22 Conference Track, and May 29 Section Track, as well as a few other softball dates and track dates still available.  Please see Mrs. Dornseif ASAP to sign up!

Grades 9-12: Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet Friday morning at 7:30 am in the Board Room.  EVERYONE is welcome.  We will have FREE juice, milk and rolls.  See Mr. Lundeen with questions.

* Recycling Awareness Class, May 13, free, open to all ages.

* Open Hours Wood Shop, Tuesdays May 13-June 17, $30 per person or $5 per session, open to all ages.

Found after prom: Cuff link & necklace in PAC.  Also found: Hot pink plastic bag of gym clothes (white sweatshirt/t-shirt), maroon sweatshirt, silver & black shorts, bag of athletic clothes & shoes.  Claim in high school office. 

Holocaust survivor, Aaron Elster, will be featured as the keynote speaker at a Holocaust Service of Remembrance on Thurs., May 15 at 7:00 at the Methodist Church.  Everyone is welcome.  Free of charge.  Copies of his book are available at the MS or HS office for $10.00.  Questions?...See Mrs. Thompson in the Middle School.
