It's time to sign up for the Ridgewater Skills Fest!  It is on Thursday, February 14th this year, and we are looking for 10th-12th grade students to compete in Auto Body, Welding, Carpentry, Cosmetology, Photography, and Retail/Fashion Sales and Marketing.  See Mrs. Dornseif or Mrs. Buckley for more information or to sign up by Friday, January 11th.

 

There will be a Senior Class meeting in the PAC at 1:30 pm on Wednesday regarding graduation announcements and financial aid info.  All seniors need to attend this meeting or see Mrs. Sellevold

 

9-12 girl’s tennis players: Please bring any picture of this year’s tennis season (varsity and junior varsity) to either Emma All Runner or Amanda Johnson for the school’s tennis website. 

 

Girl’s Group with Barb and Cindy will meet Thursday during block 3A.  Boy’s group will meet with Barb and Cindy Thursday during block 3B. 

 

Junior Class Prom Committee will meet during lunch in Mrs. Hegg’s room on Thursday, January 10. 

 

There will be an NHS meeting Friday, January 11 at 8:00 am in Mrs. Ellingworth’s room 132. 

 

Seniors:

* If you were not at the senior class meeting please stop in the guidance area to pick up financial aid meeting information.  Meeting is Wednesday, January 9 at 7:00 pm in RACC room #2. 

* If you have not signed the diploma info sheet, please stop at the office to fill in your name. 

* Please give your senior and baby pictures to Mrs. Kaupang ASAP (before Feb. 14). 

 

Star Time Wednesday is 9:40-10:20 am.  Block 1 will meet 8:30-9:35 am.  Block 2B will meet 10:25-11:30 am.

 

Info from the Guidance Office:

* New scholarship list is now available.  This list includes the Dollars for Scholars scholarship. 

* Juniors & Seniors: The US Navy is now taking applications for the ROTC Scholarship program offering full tuition at over 160 colleges and universities across the nation.  The deadline for the class of 2008 is 1/15/08.  Juniors may begin the application process online 2/1/08.  If you have questions, please stop by the guidance office. 

* Sophomores: The MN Mile Leadership Conference is scheduled at Hamline University Friday, June 20 - Sunday, June 22.  It is free and a great opportunity to learn leadership skills.  If you are interested, please see Mrs. Sellevold.
