Redwood Valley Students at the Ridgewater Skills Festival

On Thursday, February 15, 2007 Redwood Valley High School had 29 students participate in the 23rd annual Ridgewater Skills Fest in Willmar. Our students competed against 450 students from 27 Minnesota schools. This year, we had students compete in Welding, Photography, Business, Agriculture, Automotive Careers, Carpentry, and Drawing. We had a great day and earned eight awards! The most exciting achievements was the Accounting students swept their category winning all three places! They also took 1st and 2nd place in Written Communications, which is a business vocabulary test.
